After four days of in-house classes at CGP’s home campus at Freie Universität Berlin, the end of an inspiring week is coming closer. Today, the International Relations Online (IRO) and East European Studies (EES) master’s students have focussed on how to successfully turn theory into practice. Whether we look at academic writing, thought-provoking presentations or the use of scientific databases — academic research skills are not only an important prerequisite for an academic career but also provide a set of key skills for other workplaces. For this reason, our programs are designed to help our students acquire new knowledge and and learn how apply it in order to assume their roles as working professionals in a global world.
As this week is about to come to an end, we are excited to welcome Rolf-Dieter Krause as a guest to our Farewell Dinner. Rolf-Dieter Krause is a renowned German journalist, who was head of the Brussel’s studio of German public broadcaster ARD for more than twenty years. Given his hands-on expertise when it comes to all things ‚European Union‘, we are especially looking forward to hear his perspective on rising European uncertainties.
