From April 7 to 11, 2008 the Global Politics Orientation Week for former Erasmus students took place at Freie Universität Berlin.
Orientation Week
The Center for Global Politics organized an Orientation Week which was addressed at former Erasmus students who spent some time at Freie Universität. Participants not only received information on Master's programs offered by the FU, amongst others on EES Online, IR Online and the Master in Environemental Management but also had the chance to discuss current global challenges in different seminars. 17 students from 14 different countries participated in this event.

Online Educa Berlin 2008
Everyone who is interested in the “largest global e-learning conference for the corporate, education and public service sectors” will have to come to the Hotel InterContinental in Berlin on December 3 – 5. The Center for Global Politics will present its two Master’s programs EES Online and IR Online as part of a Demonstration and Best Practice Showcase session on Thursday, December 4 at 2.30 pm in room Potsdam III.

The Center for Global Politics just published its mission statement.
Applications welcome
As of today, applications for the two M.A. programs East European Studies Online and International Relations Online, starting in October 2009, can be handed in via the program' s online application systems www.ees-online.org and www.ir-online.org.
