Richard Mole
Richard Mole studied German and Russian in Edinburgh, Vienna and Moscow and International Relations at Cambridge. In 2003, he received a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics & Political Science. After completing his PhD, he was a Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania's Solomon Asch Center for the Study of Ethnopolitical Conflict and joined the UCL's School of Slavonic and East European Studies in 2004 as Lecturer in the Politics of Central Europe.
His research interests include: Central European politics, nationalism and national identity, political discourse, social psychology, ethnic conflict regulation, minority rights, foreign policy, domestic and international politics of the Baltic States and the Russian Federation.
