Heiko Pleines
Heiko Pleines is a researcher at the Centre for East European Studies (Forschungsstelle Osteuropa) in Bremen, Germany. He studied at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (University of London) and at the University of Bochum. He wrote his doctoral thesis on Russian politics at the Free University of Berlin under the supervision of Professor Klaus Segbers.
Heiko Pleines teaches courses in East European Studies at the University of Bremen. His research interests include the role of non-state actors in economic policy-making, corruption, energy sector policies and tax policies.
