Magdalena Telus
Magdalena Telus was born 1963 in Wroclaw, Poland, and currently lives in Bochum, Germany. She studied Polish Literature at the Uniwersytet Wroclawski, Poland, and Slavonic and German Studies at the Ruhr-Universtät Bochum, Germany, where she also got her Ph.D. in 1999. She worked for the Georg-Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research, founded and was responsible for the Bochumer Ukrainistik Gruppe (and is member of the Arbeitsforum Ukraine) and was engaged in the field of Intercultural Communication at Technische Universität Chemnitz. Currently she is involved in research on assisted reproduction in British, German and Polish press from the point of view of the Critical Discourse Analysis.
